Welcome to Soft Skills Coordinates!!! We do many interesting things, mainly with soft skills. As a premier soft skills training institute, we offer candidates the coaching necessary to elevate those skills which add tangible value to their professional and personal lives. Candidates seeking employment add skills that are most desired by potential employers - for example, skills involving business communication, interviewing, problem solving, decision making, interpersonal communication and motivation necessary to work effectively in complex matrix organizations. Similarly, our corporate training courses are designed to help employed professionals rapidly adapt to performance and productivity driven work environments with confidence.
Our passion includes sharing the secrets of success with our students and celebrating their growth. There is nothing more gratifying than watching students logically analyze problems they thought were almost impossible to resolve. Candidates visit our institute to explore guidance in remedying issues that hinder their personal and professional growth. Most of the times, it takes them only a few minutes to discover the real sources of such issues. But before we explain what we do in any further detail, it is worth the time to first understand what is meant by soft skills. This term is so widely used that we prefer to use the following scenario to illustrate the point.
Soft Skills - A practical perspective
In a globalized economy, and an accompanying shift from a manufacturing-based economy to a service - and information-based one, employers place high emphasis not only on the educational qualifications of its workforce but also on the abilities of its employees to meet customer service expectations. The customer in question could even be another employee from within the organization. Let’s look at this a little closely.
At a minimum, one would expect the employee to possess superior communication skills and behavioral etiquette. The employee should have the ability to quickly understand the customer’s request and provide a satisfactory resolution. An employee gifted with the mental processes to translate a task (customer request) into simple subtasks and one who can tackle each subtask through logical actions is very likely to achieve positive results. Ideally, organizations would only want to retain such employees. If you are an employee, you will be evaluated using certain yardsticks, for example, performance and productivity, the business you generate or the number of clients you bring in for the organization. These results are easily quantifiable. But what about those attributes that are harder to quantify - your ability to connect with the customer or your ability to deal with the customer professionally? How about the goodwill you generate? These attributes or skills fall in the soft skills category. Employers (and even individuals) are fast realizing that such attributes are basic imperatives for conducting business seamlessly with customers or audiences with markedly different cultural backgrounds. After all, regardless of where your customer belongs to, you want to establish lasting business relationships.
It would not be an exaggeration to state that to evolve your personality one needs to constantly exercise soft skills. Your personality represents far more than physical appearance, confidence and communication style. It also includes key behavioral patterns such as moods, willingness to cooperate, body language, and stress-managing ability. Among the intellectual attributes, it involves the ability to identify problems and willingness to solve them.
